Ninja Stars: Martial Arts for 4½ to 7 Year Olds

Ninja Stars is our kids martial arts and ninja classes for kids aged 4½ to 7. As far as Kids Martial Arts training goes this is a special age group: they're very young so need to have fun and they need to develop their gross motor skills as well as simply learning how to learn. Listening, following instructions and working in a group are fundamental to not only their martial arts but all of their time in primary school as well.

With that in mind, our Kids Martial Arts Ninja Stars curriculum is strongly focused on developing the basic skills and includes various types of hand strikes as well as basic kicks and learning how to avoid being hit with special evasive footwork that we teach both literally as an exercise and through game play.

We have a comprehensive Life Skills programme developed by Dr Warren Guest (PhD in Education) and myself Shihan Craig Guest former Business Analyst and martial artist with over 37 years experience. It really is an amazing programme that is second to none.

All of our classes are kept moving at a quick pace and we have specifically designed martial arts games to play so that they can enjoy learning new skills while having fun. Everybody knows you learn more when you're enjoying what you do....

A few words from our parents.....  this mum said "My daughter's improvement since starting this program has been great, she is not giving up as easily as she used to ".  Another parent wrote "James is very happy to read books. His manners are very good and improving all the time. Thanks to Guests Martial Arts”  And again "Zoe is more respectful, supportive and thoughtful of her fellow students than what would be expected at her age " from Zoe's teacher at school.  Free Trial Classes

Another said "We've also seen a big improvement in Josh's attitude at home, school and towards school in general”  and "If Callum isn't ready to do reader/martial arts exercises I mention I will have a chat to Sensei Craig and he hops right to it...
Walked into the lounge room today and to my surprise Callum was doing his exercises for Martial Arts all by himself"

Here’s another quote from one of our parents "Billy has improved considerably. He now is so focused on his karate that he doesn't have time to play up. His Focus and Attention are also improving" Let's think about that for a moment - Focus Improving , Attention(span) also improving, in fact he's so focused he "doesn't have time to play up"  perfect! Or this “Madison’s Manners & Reading is going great. She is working hard, cleaning up her room, spelling words. She has improved 100%”.......  Mum and Dad "she has improved 100%"..... that's what it's all about!

My son loves coming to martial arts every week, in his Ninja Stars class. All the sensei’s make a fun, organised & learning experience each time. He especially loves Black Belt Club!

New Member LEGO Prize Draw

All new Ninja Stars and Samurai Warriors members go into a draw to win one of 10 NINJAGO LEGO sets, about $2,500 worth of LEGO in total. The draw is live on Facebook on 14 February 2027. We run a different LEGO theme every 6 months: the last one was STAR WARS, and the next might be HARRY POTTER.

Instead of paying Google or Facebook, we thought we would have a bit of fun and give it to our members instead. To enter, try our Free Trial Classes and join the school by 31 January 2027. Students who refer a friend who joins also go into the draw. Winners must still be training at the dojo on the day of the draw. Speak to reception for more details. Conditions apply.

Wonderful teachers and ethos. My girl has been here since she was a wee dot: grown from shy 5 year old to tall brown belt.
